An in-house team from Christchurch and Poole depots gave up a day over a weekend in May to build a covered area at the back of Poole depot – something that’s been needed, planned and hoped for over a long time.
The monies were donated by the Peter Alliss Foundation as previously mentioned on our news page; Ray Tovey received a cheque at the Ferndown Golf Club from the club captain, Stuart McKenzie and Harry Redknap. The monies have now paid for a shelter at Poole and Bournemouth depots.
It has already made an amazing difference to the teams and being able to store items in the dry is a great help.
