This inaugural event was held to celebrate the life of Paul Tovey, assistant manager at Poole, who was killed last year. It was chosen as Paul had a love of motorsports and was an avid competitor in any team or solo event.
Our team of 12 raced around a local track with Dean from Christchurch winning a specially created trophy representing Paul’s time in the army, with Kirsty the manager at Poole winning the “Miss Daisy “ award for the slowest track time of the day !
Paul’s father Project Manager Ray Tovey (just recently retired) and his stepmother Joanna Taylor, CEO also attended the event and celebrated at a local pub afterwards. It was all much enjoyed and is intended to be an annual event being open to all staff and volunteers.
