We were successful in bidding for funds earlier in the year to create jobs for 18 – 24 year olds across our four sites, with jobs as diverse as office and admin, trainee engineers, drivers and warehouse staff.
A total of 35 young people will benefit from the scheme run by the Department of Work & Pensions administered locally by Dorset County Council over a period of 18 months, helping Dorset Reclaim to benefit from an influx of new talent.
We will be providing jobs for a period of 6 months with full training.
Of the first intake of 18, we are hoping to retain 3 on further temporary contracts, with one to go on to an apprenticeship in engineering.
